Matching a mod to your tank

Screen and interface quality matter more day to day than peak wattage, which most people never approach. A mod you can adjust one-handed, that shows resistance and battery state clearly, and that remembers settings per coil is the one you will still be using in two years.

Check the 510 connection. A spring-loaded, gold-plated pin sitting flush with a wide deck accepts far more tanks without gapping or scratching than a narrow recessed one.

Buy the mod around the tank you intend to run, not the other way around. A single-battery device comfortably drives most sub-ohm tanks to around 80 W; dual-battery mods exist for the high-wattage RDA and mesh-tank end of the range, and carry the extra weight to prove it.
